Ma démarche artistique :

Depuis plusieurs années, ma recherche photographique me guide vers l’abstraction sans importance pour la couleur ou le noir et blanc. J’aime que l’image soit actrice pour l’imaginaire de celui qui regarde, qu’un spectateur découvre une réalité fictive qui ne sera pas forcément la mienne.

Un lieu, un objet, un jeu de lumière, une matière, une marge peuvent entraîner le regard vers « Le Musée imaginaire » comme l’appelait Malraux.

D’instinct, je suis attirée par la coupure, par la ligne qui sépare en deux les espaces révélant l’alchimie du tirage qui façonne et sculpte le grain photographique. Une fragmentation, un éclatement de la chose photographiée qui transforme et bouleverse l’image pourtant parfaitement choisie et façonnée par moi.

My artistic approach:

For several years, my photographic research has guided me towards abstraction, whether it be in colour or black and white. To me, pictures should feed the imagination of their spectators like an actress would, so he/she can uncover a fictitious world that may not be my own.

Malraux used to talk about the « Musée imaginaire », that imaginary museum where our gaze can be directed by a place, an object, a subtle light reflection, a material, a margin. I am intuitively drawn towards disconnections, rifts that split spaces in two and reveal the miracle of the printing process, moulding and shaping the grain of the picture. A fragmentation, a burst of the photographed object that transforms and upsets the image, even though I had chosen and shaped it perfectly.

De juin à fin juillet 2016 "L'images actrices" a fait l'objet d'une exposition qui représentait dix ans de mon travail et de ma recherche artistique. J' ai été accueillie à L'ESPACE DES FEMMES, 33 rue Jacob 75006 Paris
